exponent Book a call

Privacy Policy

Effective November 2, 2026

This policy explains what personal information Exponent Systems ("Exponent", "we", "us") collects when you visit exponent.systems, book a call with us or become a client, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have a question about it, email hello@exponent.systems.

What we collect

We keep collection to what we need to run the website and work with clients.

How we use it

We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it to build marketing profiles.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate, and only as much as they need. These are Vercel (website hosting), Cal.com (call scheduling), our email provider, and the payment and accounting providers we use for invoicing. Each processes data under its own privacy terms. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking details for as long as the conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back. Client records are kept for the length of the engagement and as long as tax and accounting rules require after it ends. When information is no longer needed we delete it or make it anonymous.

Security

We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limited access to client systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will tell affected people and authorities about a breach when the law requires it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a particular purpose. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, or similar laws, including the right to receive a copy of your data and to complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, email hello@exponent.systems. We will verify the request and respond within the time the applicable law allows, and we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests to run the website and answer enquiries, on contract to deliver services, and on legal obligation for records we must keep.

International transfers

Exponent is based in the United States, and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Links to other sites

The website links to other sites, including client websites and Cal.com. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we will let clients know directly.
